We specialize in Coal Tar Epoxy application for steel pilings.

Preconstruction Services

New Orleans Iron Works helps our customers drive down costs and enhance productivity through early involvement in the design of structural steel components and connection details. Our preconstruction team can assist with accurate budgeting and offer insight into costs, availability, lead times and trends in the ever-changing steel market. We specialize in constructability and connection analysis.  We can offer the best solution to your design team.

Detailing and Engineering

The detailing and engineering department at New Orleans Iron Works plays a vital role in our ability to deliver successful projects.  Our partner company, Callaway Steel Detailing, provides many of our fabrication and erection drawings.  The expertise that the Callaway Steel Detailing team brings to our projects compliments our in-house staff and increases our detailing production capacity.  Our staff has the experience and the knowledge to review your design and provide value-engineering that will enhance your project and decrease your cost.

BIM Services

New Orleans Iron Works brings value to customers by the use of Building Information Modeling and 3-D technology. Modeling a project has many benefits, such as enhancing communication among the project team, illustrating design intent, and ensuring owner expectations are met.  Our steel model, when interfaced with the mechanical, electrical or other trades’ models, can detect interferences, or design errors, and address them before problems arise in the field. Finding errors early and prior to production can save money by avoiding rework and delays in the field.
